My Inspiration

In their eyes I am a hero

I am strong and wise and I know no fear

But the truth is plain to see

They were sent to rescue me

I see who I want to be

In their eyes

When my heart had enough

And I feel like giving up

They are the reason

For me to keep hangin' on

In their eyes

I can see the future

A reflection of who I am

And what I want to be

Though they'll grow

And someday leave

When I'm gone

I hope they'll see

How happy they made me
